One-on-one English coaching with Mitch Decker

Learn to speak English with real confidence.

Fluenity is regular one-on-one practice with a real coach: speaking, pronunciation, and develop the ability to relax and speak with confidence.

Does this describe you?

Are you one of these people? If any of this sounds like you, we should talk — adults learn best with regular, real practice over time.

Out of practice

I had some classes or training in English, but it was a long time ago and I've forgotten a lot, or I'm out of practice.

Need help with listening and speaking

My training was mostly vocabulary and grammar with written tests — not much speaking, and no native teacher — so my listening and speaking need work.

English at work

I work for a global company. I can read and write English with tools, but speaking in video calls or face-to-face is hard for me.

Ready for the next step

I want to grow my career, and being proficient in English is necessary for the promotion I want.

A new life abroad

I moved to an English-speaking country for work or with my spouse, and I need better English for all of life — kids, shopping, school, and work.

Studying in English

I'm a university student at an English-speaking school, and I need to improve my skills.

Why a real person, not an app or AI agent

An app or AI agent can drill vocabulary, but it can't replicate real life. Real communication goes two ways — you have to read the other person and respond, not just recite. So much of meaning lives in word stress, intonation, tone, word choice, and body language, and you only learn to hear it and use it by talking with a real person who talks back.

An app or AI agent is also endlessly agreeable — it rarely pushes back, so you never find out what you're actually getting wrong. People behave differently with AI, too, when they know no one is really watching. And standardized classes have the same blind spot: they're built for everyone in general and disconnected from you in particular — your goals, your job, and the real challenges of your life and career.

That's what coaching with me is instead: real conversations with honest corrections in the moment, about topics that matter to you and fit your goals. A real coach gives you real feedback — kindly, but honestly — remembers where you're headed, and holds you to it. An app or AI agent never will.

What we work on together

Real conversation built around your life and your goals. Grammar isn't the most important thing — clear, simple sentences and the confidence to use them are.

Speaking & listening

Regular back-and-forth practice, so joining real conversations stops feeling like work.

Confidence

Say what you mean without over-planning every sentence, and without the fear of getting it wrong.

Pronunciation & intonation

The sounds, stress, and rhythm that make you clear and easy to understand.

Vocabulary & word choice

The right, natural words for the moment — picked up as we talk, not from a list.

Simple, clear sentences

Plain sentences that carry exactly what you mean. Clarity beats grammar-perfect.

Work & career English

Meetings, interviews, and speaking up at work — business English is a specialty when you need it.

What coaching with Mitch is — and isn't.

This isn't a language app or a grammar course. Here's exactly how it works.

Your coach — a real professional, not an app

Mitch is an American coach who has taught English for ten years — three years in classrooms in China, where he taught over a thousand students, and seven years online, one-on-one, with hundreds more across a dozen countries. Before teaching, he spent a full career in business.

He coaches adults who need English for work, travel, moving abroad, and everyday family life. Most students stay for years, meeting every week, because regular, real practice is what actually works.
